(Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010) The entire Paris Tea Party Patriots Executive Board submitted their resignation over the past week and individually endorsed Republican Erwin Cain for State Representative. This action comes as the founder of the organization, Janet Post, has embraced candidates diametrically opposed to the principles which the former organization was founded to support. This action effectively dissolves the entity and lays the groundwork to launch a new organization wholly focused on promoting conservative principles.

Young Conservatives of Texas (YCT) claimed last week the Libertarian Party of Texas borrowed “entire swaths of content” from YCT’s “Legislative Ratings for the 81st Legislature” for the party’s “Texas 2009 Legislative Scorecard.”

Young Conservatives of Texas (YCT), the most active political youth organization in Texas, announced Monday that they are endorsing Republican Jim Landtroop over incumbent Democrat Joe Heflin for State Representative in House District 85. The group has been providing grassroots conservative leadership across the state for more than 30 years.

Following the events that unfolded at the University of Texas at Austin campus Tuesday morning,Young Conservatives of Texas (YCT) is urging the Texas Legislature to enact legislation allowing students, faculty, and any other visitors on campus who have a Concealed Handgun License to be able to carry a concealed handgun at all Texas universities. Current Texas law states that university
campuses are gun free zones.
