We Are Still at RPT…
We’ve gotten great reception so far with lots of interest in YCT. We are currently helping Cathie Adams of the Texas Eagle Forum in her bid for National Committeewoman.
I’m stopping by the www.rightonline.com booth yet again and will be chatting with Lt. Gov. Dewhurst in a moment.
RPT Interviews at the www.rightonline.com Booth
About to get started with some interviews with the Rightonline.com booth.
The topic right now is the surplus in Texas.
I am currently joined by Rep. Rob Eissler of the Woodlands, Speaker Tom Craddick, and Rep. Myra Crownover.
Rep. Eissler has mentioned public school spending…a big topic to YCT.
A question that came up from Joey Dauben, a blogger: the business tax needs to be repealed. He asks, "Do you favor a repeal of the business tax?"
Live Blogging at the Republican State Convention
Hey everyone, we’re here in Houston at the Republican State Convention in Houston, Texas.
I’m at the rightonline.com booth with Speaker Craddick and State Rep. Frank Corte, Jr.
More to come….stay tuned…
How Far Will Campuses Go to Create “Diversity”?
In Lubbock, Texas, YCT-ers revived an old event called the “Catch an Illegal Immigrant Day” which was met with an interesting response from the diversity hungry administration.
The Lubbock Online Reports:
Students in the Texas Tech chapter of the Young Conservatives of Texas wore the T-shirt on campus one day as part of a game, “Catch the Illegal Immigrant.”
Convention Was a Success!
I’d really like to thank all the YCT-ers for their hard work in putting together convention. We really represented in the Alamo City, having so many people register we actually had to turn people away.
This was my third convention and it was great to see the room packed and our agenda full of such awesome speakers!
I’ll be posting more throughout the day with photos so you can see what we were up to in San Antonio!
