AUSTIN, TEXAS — The Young Conservatives of Texas (YCT) is proud to announce its endorsement of Governor Greg Abbott for re-election in the 2026 Texas gubernatorial race. We believe Governor Abbott’s leadership and his bold conservative agenda have demonstrated his commitment to the principles of limited government, individual liberty, strong borders, pro-life values, and educational freedom. That is why our members, who hail from all corners of this great state, are united behind his campaign.
Governor Abbott has delivered on major conservative priorities during the 89th Texas Legislature. YCT is particularly grateful for his strong support for education savings accounts (aka school choice), a policy which has been a YCT priority for decades.
Among the many other legislative victories that passed thanks to his leadership are further restrictions of mail-order abortion pills, property tax relief, and protecting women’s privacy in public bathrooms.
