Austin, TX — Young Conservatives of Texas (YCT) announced today their endorsement of Representative Bill Zedler for re-election in Texas House District 96 (HD 96).

“The conservative voters of House District 96 should reelect Representative Zedler,” said Tony McDonald, YCT Senior Vice Chairman. “He has been a champion for limited government and greater transparency. If voters want to keep their government more accountable, they’ll send Bill Zedler back to Austin next session.”

On the group’s ratings of the Texas Legislature, Representative Zedler has consistently scored well, earning a place on YCT’s Historic Honor Roll during his four terms in the Texas House.

“Zedler spends his time in Austin fighting for the conservative values of the voters of HD 96,” said Jeff Morris, YCT State Chairman. “They are blessed to have a Representative who is truly a conservative leader.”

In response to the endorsement, Representative Zedler said, “I want to thank YCT for their continued support of my campaign. Their consistency in fighting for a more transparent and accountable government has helped the conservative movement make great strides in the last few years.”

Young Conservatives of Texas (YCT) has been promoting conservatism at universities across the Lone Star State for over three decades.
