YCT Thanks its Graduating Seniors

July 8, 2022
This spring, our YCT seniors walked the stage at graduation, marking a new chapter in their young lives. We know that the Class of 2022 will go on to reach great heights as the next generation of conservative leaders. We would like to take the time to highlight a few seniors that helped make YCT thrive on their respective campuses.

What will you miss the most about YCT?
“I will miss helping college students find their conservative values and fostering their interest in conservative activism.”
What is the YCT moment or event you are most proud of?
“The moment in YCT I am most proud of was attending our end-of-year social during my term as chairman. Seeing all the progress made within my chapter and being a part of a wonderful movement made me proud. It made all the hard work along the way worth it”
What are your future plans, in the conservative movement or otherwise?
“I plan to split my time between conservative activism and working in the legal world. I plan to complete law school and continue to promote conservative values, wherever I may go.”

What will you miss the most about YCT?
“I will miss hosting events on campus and connecting with other UNT conservatives.”
What is the YCT moment or event you are most proud of?
“I’m most proud of my chapter’s win with the Texas Public Policy Foundation regarding tuition prices for illegal immigrants being lower than out-of-state students. That case had been in the works since my 2nd semester at UNT, so I’m glad I got to see it wrap up right before I graduated.”
What are your future plans, in the conservative movement or otherwise?
“My post-college job is leading a new organization called Protect Texas Kids. After seeing how far left the students on my campus were, I wanted to create an organization that could focus on ending leftist indoctrination in K-12 schools so students aren’t so far gone by the time they get to college!”

What will you miss the most about YCT?
“I am going to miss the community that YCT builds the most. On every campus with a chapter, the members create their own tight-knit community that supports each other and makes sure they have a place where they are free to express themselves.”
What is the YCT moment or event you are most proud of?
“I am most proud of making sure the Trinity University chapter will be able to flourish after I leave. Covid hurt too many student organizations across Texas, with many dying or being left in a sad state as a result. I’m proud that, despite tough and extenuating circumstances, the Trinity chapter will only continue to grow.”
What are your future plans, in the conservative movement or otherwise?
“I plan on continuing to be part of the conservative movement by working for the Leadership Institute. I will continue to make sure conservative students have their voices heard in Texas.”

What will you miss the most about YCT?
“I’m really going to miss the community we’ve fostered for conservatives on our campus, we built an excellent place for conservatives to exist and discuss various topics at UMHB and I know the new leadership will make it even better.”
What is the YCT moment or event you are most proud of?
“I was extremely proud of our 2021 State Convention. I know a lot of groups and organizations that did not survive COVID on campus like YCT did, but we put together an amazing event for students to end the school year with.”
What are your future plans, in the conservative movement or otherwise?
“Right now, I’m looking forward to helping YCT in any way I can while serving as Senior Vice Chairman. I’ve seen YCT grow rapidly in my time as a chapter chair and I’m excited to help it continue to grow and help bring up the next generation of conservatives.”
I want to give a final thanks to all of our seniors. Your contributions to your YCT chapters are invaluable and we are a better organization thanks to your service. We can’t wait to see where life takes you, and wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors.

Sincerely,
Julia Crusius
Chairman, YCT Association
