YCT Honors Houston Area Republicans

(Austin, TX) Young Conservatives of Texas released their annual scorecard of the 81st Legislative Session on January 6, 2010. 

 

“Some Houston Area Republicans scored exceptionally well and we want to give them special notice,” said Laura Elizabeth Morales, Senior Vice Chairman.

 

“State Representative Randy Weber earned Freshman of the Year honors with a score of 97%, followed closely behind by fellow Freshmen Representatives Ken Legler and Allen Fletcher with scores of 94% and 90%, respectively,” said Tony McDonald, Vice Chairman for Legislative Affairs.

 

McDonald continued, “We are also very pleased with two of Houston’s veteran legislators, Representatives Charlie Howard and Debbie Riddle, who also made the YCT Honor Roll with scores of 90%.”

 

“Young Conservatives of Texas congratulates the Houston Area Delegation of Randy Weber (97%), Ken Legler (94%), Allen Fletcher (90%), Charlie Howard (90%), and Debbie Riddle (90%) for consistently standing up for conservative values in the State Legislature in 2009 and thanks them for their servant leadership,” concluded Morales.
