(Austin, TX) The Young Conservatives of Texas (YCT), a non-partisan grassroots political organization, announce their endorsement of Mike Brasovan for United States Congress in Congressional District 12.

“The Young Conservatives of Texas are proud to support Mike Brasovan,” said Laura Elizabeth Morales, Senior Vice Chairman. “We believe Mike is the right man to represent the citizens of District 12 and he is a strong advocate for limited government and the free market. Mike’s background in both politics and energy make him an experienced candidate to bring Texas values to Washington,” said Laura Elizabeth Morales, Senior Vice Chairman.

Members of YCT endorse candidates based on personal interviews, extensive research and detailed questionnaires.

“I am very excited to be endorsed by the Young Conservatives of Texas. They are a quality organization with young people that are the future of the Republican Party. They represent the true backbone leadership of tomorrow,” said Brasovan.

“This endorsement means a lot because YCT is focused on conservative values and principles and, after hearing from all of the candidates, they recognized my campaign and our ideals as the most closely aligned to theirs. Through this endorsement people will continue to recognize that I have been fully vetted by true conservatives and have met their approval,” he added.

YCT, which was founded in 1980, issues the most recognized ratings of the state legislature and is the only conservative group to have done so without interruption over the last 15 sessions. YCT has chapters at the University of Texas at Austin, Baylor University, Texas State University, Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas Tech University and the University of Houston.
